Very doubtful. I'm just regurgitating other paranoid bull**** that a few people cry about.

Back to teh topic, it just seems weird that the car's computer would just one day let you go above 125, then suddenly not let you go above 125 afterwards. Have you disconnected the battery? I doubt that would really do anything for that...are you sure you've been above 125 before?

really?? i never thought if that. i wish there was a way for a mechanic to test it without actually driving my car..

99s (and I think 00s, too) came standard with 225/55/16 H (130) rated rubber and were limited to 130.

we got the wheel upgrade from the dealership when we got the car brand new, but i gues that really wouldnt make a difference lol BTW thanks for introducing me to orangecountyhorsepower.com its cool meeting more people in my area.

Well you should invest in a tuner, you can remove the limiter and since your modding the car it'll come in handy and youll get more horsepower than just bolting on and leaving it stock tuned
