I am not sure if anybody has tried this yet. If so,then i feel like an idiot.
I bought 6' of 3/8 clear vinyl hose, a 6x6x4 plastic box with a secure lid and a used fuel pump from a wrecking yard. I wrapped the vinyl tube around my MAC CIA tube and ran the tube from the pump around the CIA and back into the box. Ran a switch from my console to the battery and then to the pump. Filled the box with ice water and turned on the pump for 5 mins before going for a test drive. My idea was that if i chilled the air intake tube before driving and continued chilling it, i could increase HP slightly. (like driving on a cool, crisp night)
I tested this with my accelerometer (G-TECH) both before the installation and after and was happy to see a gain of 16 HP

Not bad for 2 hrs work and $33.00

It sounds like it might work for the track, but obviously not for street/everyday driving. Similar to guys putting ice bags on in between rounds.
