I know a "guy" with an stock 2003 M3 who thinks hes god. What kind of mods do i need to put him in his place. Lets start with the Minimum, and then the over kill of course.

 

First let him know who ever has the fastest car your ***** is gonna be the same size , Second them 3.2 liters are some mean little cars. If you want to kill him on a cheap budget go with gears , Nitrous and sticky tires and you should be able to smoke him.

I agree with Strider... Even if you blow him out by 10 Cars he will just say, o well you still drive a mustang and i have a M3... Soo, Unless this is Fast & Furious and Girls only care how fast your car is i wouldnt even bother......

 

my buddy has an 02 m3 with an active autoworks supercharger and nitrous. i keep up with him and its pretty even without nitrous but when hes on spray he kills me.

 

Honestly the S54 Is a pretty stout engine paired with BMW's aggressive gearing (4.23 to 1 in 1st) they are pretty quick.

To be honest he is going to have you unless you have some good gears, full Boltons and tires and you are racing from a dig.

Nitrous will allow you to take him from a dig or a roll. But I promise even if you beat him by 20 cars. He is going to say lets take it to the twistiest, and i can guarantee that 20 cars of straight line power will mean nothing.

He honestly does have the superior car in most every aspect. But he likely paid for it as well. I looked at getting an e46 M3 when looking at my car but I settled on the Z06 because you are getting more car for the same amount of money (less quailty, but more car).

 

i wouldnt bother trying unless you want to be sneaky about it. like hiding a 100 shot in the door panels and making sure all the lines are hidden, because otherwise he will do just what everyone says....i still got am M3...now if you smoke him by cheating...your car looks stock but isnt, well thats just plain fun, because then you can just say you may have an M3 but you cant drive for ****! lol

and i have a quick technical question can anyone help? i just thought of this, but on my JLT intake its the fendermount, you know the tubing that runs to the iac valve.. well if you have one you know it like screws into the jlt tube with the washer on the inside. well mines loose, no washer.. could this cause a vaccum leak and be a reason why my vehicle could loose power on WOT and bog to stall if i dont shift to N...????? im getting the dtc p0455 im trying to narrow it down you all seem smart help?

the m3 is rear wheel drive. the only thing that is there downfall is there torque. my buddy is putting out 469whp but only 315wtq without spray. so thats the only reason when i get him is my torque. he runs a 12.3 without spray. of course it isn't stock but. if its got an hpf turbo it on it stay away pretty much a highway monster. there stage 1 kit puts out ~700whp crazy. they have a really stout drivetrain also. and when i drive his car it corners so amazing it makes me sick. hes got bilstien pss-9 coilovers so i'm sure that helps but it handles like its on rails. and whenever i talk about my car his first response is well i have have an m3 and then the second is that its paid for. i think he said stock for stock there about as quick as an sti i belive.
