Default Mid-Pipe with cats?

I am leaning towards getting the mrt catted h simply because I live in California and the cops would love me way too much with an O/R pipe. So my question is, would I get significant performance and sound improvement with the after market pipe with the 2 high flow cats compared to the stock with 6 cats? Or should I really just say **** them and go O/R? (rather not, but if it THAT huge of a difference...)

I used to run the MRT catted h pipe, but had to sell it when i did the long tubes. You will love it! I noticed a little bit of power, and alot more sound. It added a louder and deeper tone.

I live in Bakersfield, CA and the cops never say anything. One pulled me over and asked if I had any illegal mods in the car and I just said an exhaust. Got lucke and let me go but did tell me that an ******* cop would have given me a ticket.
Go for it but keep your stock H-pipe just in case AND for every 2 years.

Yeah, my X is catted and my car is still loud as hell. Although, I have a cat-back and headers too. Its just not worth having to worry about emissions.
