Default Cat Delete?

Im thinking of taking off my cats...All i have are flowmaster mufflers...What should i expect regarding sound and/or performance? Im saving for an o/r xpipe and some headers but in the mean time i want to take off the cats..Thanks

o/r x +flowmasters= fail ,sounds like a can full sand and small rocks. my buddy has that setup on his 01 cobra and it sounds the engine is falling apart and coming though the exhaust

remember where you live at too, if you have emissions testing you may want to buy flanges and make it swappable for testing. You wont pass emissions without them, and if they catch a cattless car your screwed.

if you have flows go with and hpipe sounds much better than the rattle can x.

just remove the last 2, cat delete not worth it IMO.

stock midpipe is an H half the people in this thread should know that..it will sound fine...don't go buy an o/r x, het an h if you wanna go o/r and flows

does anyone have any advise as to what type of muff's to use to not have the tinny noise with a off road x pipe setup

Most straight through style mufflers will help with that. A set of Magnaflows (not the packs) will probably work really well.
