99-04 GT vs 05-09 GT
liek the title says guys, what is better? im looking to get a gt convertible here with in the year or so and ive always wanted a 04 GT but after looking at a few 05 and ups they are sweet and bunch of nice mods you can do with them. so what are some pros and cons of each? what do you guys reccommend?

Which one is better is a matter of opinion! You have to decide for yourself. The 05+ is a whole different car from the ground up. It is more refind, faster, handles better, etc, in stock form.
All things being equal (price, miles, condition, etc) i'd get the 05. You will find some smoking deals on the 99-04 gt though!

+1.... 05-09 are ugly as hell though...if you can actually look at one without puking all over yourself, then they really are nicer cars...better engine, nicer interior, ride smoother

I have an 04 GT and my dad has an 05 GT.
His car is much faster, but I like the way my car drives.
My car is more comfortable IMHO.
Seems like there are more mods for the 05+ cars.
No matter which exhaust you use on the 05+ cars, you won't be able to make it sound like the 99-04 2V engines.
