I was asked today if a KB supercharger off a 2002 Mustang gt could be used on the 03/04 cobra motor?? This is a good question and I dont have the answer. My intial thought was different intake manifolds but I am just not too sure at all this can work.

by looking at the KB website its hard to say for sure. That is a good question though. Call KB and ask them. I would like to know.

 

I know the 03/04 cobra superchargers cant work on 2v's without modifications so i would say no but with some modifications it might be able to work.....

 

I don't believe so, according to their site, only a 2.1L and 2.6L can go on a GT, where only a 2.6H and a 2.8H go on the cobras. I could be wrong, but my gut feeling was that it wouldn't work and this kinda confirms it.

 

seeing as how you need a special lower intake and 4v and 2v intakes differ i would say no it wouldn't work.

 

Ok different intake different system. Thanks to all that helped. I thought the kid may have been on to something.
