so im new just bought a 02 stang like it alot only thing thats bothering me is its an automatic ive read alot of post saying that an auto mustang aint a real mustang. so just wondering how many of you drive an auto mustang

hey noob.....this is the 5.0 section not only is it in the wrong section in the 5.0 section but it's in the entire wrong forum, try these guys.....

its all good man.. a stick is more fun IMO but your car would be a hell of alot more consistent drag racing

Automatic not a real stang my ***. I love my auto stang. Just throw a 3500 stall on that bitch and have some fun.

Eh,...it's all in matter of preference really. Personally i would drive an auto mustang if you gave it to me, really I wouldn't, I hate them with a passion. But thats just me and my bad experiences with autos. You may have better experiences with them, and yes, autos can be made to be more consistent at the track, if you put some money in them. But don't let anyone tell you its not a "real" mustang, it is.

in the future i may have an auto mustang for DD status but manual's are just more fun

I would never drive an auto Mustang. Stick = more fun. 3 things that make a Mustang a chicks car: An auto, convertible and a V6 lol

Auto here, love it, love my car to the fullest. Might not be as fun, but a lot easier and error proof. Just get gears and a tune, maybe even a stall if you want. Get a tranny cooler too. They are a lot easier for driving around town. I would much rather have a manual, but a deal was calling when i boought it. I beat sticks on a regular and love my car. The biggest factor is the fun factor, but believe me, you will enjoy your auto.
