Default considering supercharger...but...

Okay so I am thinking of springing for one. I was checking out this all high and mighty supercharger thread...1500 for a charger. But I can't find a head unit for sale for my car. Should I wait around to find one or what? I don't want to purchase all of these individual parts just to find out I will have to buy a kit as a whole. What about this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VORTE...Q5fAccessories
comes with fuel pump and fuel injectors, anything wrong with the v-1?

its just the last generation stuff. I mean you could buy that kit and send the head unit back to vortech and have them upgrade it to current specs and upgrade it to a T trim or something like that for not too much coin. But the kit looks to be pretty good and no searching for parts and piecing a kit together. I'd do it if i had the money...and they need to rename that the $2000 supercharger kit thread cus you cant do it for $1500 anymore.

How long have you been looking? Patience young grasshopper.... Although I find it strange there is nothing for head units. I found mine after about 2 days of watching that website.

heres a nifty little site to find parts you need. I've seen S/C's on here before.

okay, I gotcha. Just sucks I have checked all of these places and nothing. This has only been like a 2 day span. I guess I will watch and wait for a while, and if nothing then buy new and take a hit.

thats because that thread is stupid, just wait till you hook up a unit from a blown motor (most of them are) and it spits metal particulate through your bearings
