Default Long Tube headers Help!!!

Im looking at buying a new set of headers off of american muscle. I was wondering which ones will give you the most hp gains. I am new to the modular motor my old mustang a 5.0 had just hooker super comp. I would also like to know which mufflers are gonna give her a more throaty rev but minimal drone.

Both BBK and Mac are great for the money.

If you are concerned about drone you might want to consider a straight through style muffler (Borla, Magnaflow, SLP, etc.) as opposed to a chambered muffler (Flowmaster, Mac, etc.).

Also, from what i've seen, an x pipe will have less drone than an h pipe. But again these are just generalizations. A lot of it has to do with how the entire exhaust system works together.

Mac LTs, Mac O/R H pipe and catback sounds awesome!

When looking at the Mac LTs just make sure you get the right model year and make sure they are ceramic coated.
