Default Opinions on this wheel

I'm sick of chrome, plus mine are starting to peel on the inside. I guess I don't really see many silver wheels. Can't really find a wheel like this on AM that isn't chrome, so no user pics. Anyone have silver cobra style rims? My car is red...

Shouldn't look too bad. Though I do like chrome on a red car, it is just fitting to me. You may want to see if Xeno or one of the guys in the chop shop can't chop em on your car to give you a better idea on what they will look like.

yeah I don't know, the silver might seem a little bland. I also had my eyes on the black bullit with machined lip. I really hate an all black wheel, but that machined lip gives it a nice contrast.

Ya when I first saw them, I thought they looked kinda boring. Nice, but boring. Like Blue said, post them in the Chop Shop section and have someone chop them on your car. They do a great job and will give you a good idea if they look good on your car.

ok, thanks. on a side note...does anyone put 18's in back and 17's up front? Not sure if that's a commonly done thing or not. for instance, the deep dish 18 bullitt's in back and then just the same wheel in front, but not a DD and 17's..

I am sure someone has, but the thing to do is to get like a 17x8 up front and a 17x10 or 17x10.5 in the rear. It gives it a nice aggressive look. Just more food for thought.

silver 95 cobra r's arent that nice...trust me on a new edge those curves do not set off the car at all...especially in silver...anything sharp or square will give the sharp edges of the car a much more agressive look

yeah I'm kinda leaning toward the black deep dish bullits from AM on the rear. Do I have to go with a 315 tire with 17X10.5s?

I'm not sure what else you could run on a 17x 10.5 inch rim. A 315 is going to be the best fit for that rim, and look mean as hell!
