if you have a good tune and and good tire you could go 12's the way you are now. i think jayc ran 12.8 with just bolt ons..a few others have done it too

your auto should be helping you.. with a stall/tune/gears autos rape. I hate autos and strongly consider them to be highly homosexual, but I still know that an auto is an advantage in drag racing, not a hindrance.

With cams/full bolt-ons you should see 12s EASY and be at 300 peak hp~ with stage 2s and around 290 peak~ with stage 1s(with a WAY better curve than stage 2s with stock heads).

thanks hoss, im thinking cms stage ones, or high tech stage 2's (their site says i can use stock springs just as long as i keep it under 6500) the only reason ive got an auto is because all of the manual's at the time were $4000 more and had the same mileage. gonna swap to a manual when the auto quits.
but u guys with cams keep em coming, any help is greatyl appreciated.

Do you plan on changing springs or doing head work?
