Gotcha. I like CMS cams as well but I've heard a couple people having PTV issues? Not sure if I want to notch my pistons for cams for not. Car will only be sprayed maybe a handful of times during the summer so I will just run a step colder plug and when I plan to run the nitrous, I will pull timing with the tuner.

I have to agree with you on the PTV issues. Although there have been a few cases with the Hitech's as well. If that happens they have to be degreed in a way will usually cost a little hp.

True. My friend is a ford tech and he is going to degree them when we do the install. I've heard hi-tech telling people u don't need to degree them which is pure crap.

Can we try to go about this a diff way... Are u shooting for a hp number? Or an et? And what's your budget... I think ur numbers are slightly off. If u can tell us that, I can tell u exactly what to get to acomplish your goal

I'm mainly looking for a trap goal. I would like a 110 trap NA and 115+ on spray. I go to the track and I also do some racing in mexico too so trap is important.

For what its worth I'm traping 115 on the bottle now...stock motor, 100 shot, mail order tune and suspension...

Be honest, are u doing races from a dig? Or more from a roll?

Roll that's why I'm more concerned with trap. A 108-110 trap with the guys I roll with is pretty average, a 115-120 is fast and there are several guys with 130+ cars which I'm not really worried about.

115 trap on 100 shot on stock motor is good stuff. So there may be some hope for my goal with suspension upgrades and sticky tires and the H/C or just cams.

You better build your rear end if you plan on running sticky tires...just saying. Suspension+sticky tires=broken axles. Suspension+sticky tires x nitrous(yes times nitrous because thats soooooo much stress on your rear)=good bye rear end.
