That is kinda difficult only because anytime you are increasing HP, you are effecting the car in someway. I take it you mean you just want the car to still be streetable with more HP? I would look into getting some steeper rear gears, either 3.73 or 4.10's. They help get you into the powerband a lot quicker. The gears will not increase HP, but you will think you have when you smash the pedal and you start to melt into the seat lol. I would look into a supercharger for HP and just run low boost like 6-8lbs on the stock internals. That is the only real way to get easy HP without affecting driveability. I would tell you H/C/I, but that can take away some of the streetability depending on the head/cam combo. I am sure some of the FI guys on here can help you a little more than I can as far as going with a supercharger.

What mods do you have and what hp levels are you looking for and how much are you looking to spend? These figures will help us help you tremendously.

Invest in a tuner too. I have an auto and I will admit that I hated it but I bought a tuner and modified the shift points, firmness, and torque modulation and it turned into a car that was a lot more fun to drive.

What did you do to the torque modulation?

I turned it off, stock form the ecu would send a signal to make the tranny modulate some of the torque for a smoother more gentle shift. If u cut it off 100% of the torque goes through the tranny resulting in quicker, firmer shifts, and makes the car feel a little bit quicker too.

Mine was set to 1(100%) by default.

EDIT: I just checked my tuner and had it backwards...oops lol 100 is off. 3 years later and it still confuses me.

I know, I actually had to call diablo and ask about that. The setting on the predator for TM is 0 (stock), 50, 100(off), mine was set to stock by default so I was confused. The guy told me to turn it to 100 for the full benefit. Turn yours off and give it a try, it might surprise u.lol

Mine is off...by default...."Torque Modulation: This will adjust the amount of torque available during a shift, Setting it to 1 will allow 100% of the torque to be used during the shift, thus yielding a firmer shift"
