Weird, maybe your firmware was more modern or something. Mine stayed on the stock setting even after the "diablo tune". lilcrate I changed my other post u were right, it's still weird because my tuner didn't have a "1" just stock, 50, and 100 for off.

Here are pics of what I am talking about.
This is what I am set to now...100 which is the off position
50
and 0 which is always my default unless I change it manually.
Like I said I don't have a "1" so it confused the hell out of me. lol

Hmmmm...now I will have to check mine again. It has been a long time but I remember reading the manual and going by it, leaving me making no changes. I will check it when I leave work.

no the stock cars wouldnt have come with it already turned off...
and as for the tuner it wont get turned off by the stock diablo tune. you must edit the diablo tune in order to turn it off so dont think installing the tune will automatically take it off.

OP, sorry for the hijack. Not sure what a tuner job is, unless you are referring to a dyno tune. That is if you buy a tuner, which allows you to manipulate the cars computer (a/f levels, timing, shifting firmness, disable MIL, speed calibrate, much, much, more) then take it to a shop that has a dyno, and they will use your tuner and the dyno together to dial in your car. You can just attempt to tune yourself, but if no experience best to use a dyno tune.
