Default How much could i sell my stang for?

I hate to say it guys, but i've been in a bit of a rut lately and i think im going to have to sell the stang to get some cash in my hands.

The car is in great condition with 58000 miles on it. The paint looks great and i've kept it washed and waxed pretty well.

The car has been regularly maintenenced. It has new brakes and rotors, and sits on new Nittos 555 drag radials.

The only problem with the car is that the throw out barring rattles a bit under load from 1800-2100 rpms, but has no effect on how the car performs.

My mods are in my sig. Thanks for the imput.

Since mods really have no effect on the value of your car, I say 8-10k.

wow...thats a lot

ide say if you fix the TOB 8500 is a good asking price, and 8k would be a good price to let it go

with the loud TOB, ide say 7500, and take 7....

most people dont want someone else's headache...even little things that can be fixed for a couple hundred bucks, will take a thousand bucks off the value of a car, if not more.

GT's seems to hold their value pretty good around the chicago land area. So my price is going based of where I live. I'm sure its different from state to state and what kind of area you live in.

8-10 is a good place to start.

I mean if the car IS in good condition, I just don't know about that rattle, it will probably scare a lot of potential buys away.

Do you want our cars to be worth nothing? Im not hopping on the KBB bandwagon, I had my 2000 GT listed back in spring for 8500 OBO with almost 100k miles and had people come and look and recived 2 offers. One was 7700 and the other was 7900 and i turned both down and decided to keep the car, its bull**** how much our cars value has plummited in the past 2 years. An 02 with under 60k miles should get 9.5-10k easily if its in great shape

i would say that you could get 19.64 X 420. mods kind of hurt the value of the car in my eyes.

DS002: cars get old and lose value. face the cards, your about to have a 10 year old car.

I know that they lose value but if youve been watching the KBB Mustangs have significantly dropped in value in the last year and a half to 2 years. I blame the whole fuel issue for the most part but I think KBB got a little crazy with just how low they dropped the values. I bought my car for $8500 with 67k miles 2 years ago and KBB now values it around 5k I believe, thats just ridiculous. Especially when 10 year old honda civics are still fetching 5k-6k.

In my area if I saw a 2002 GT with 58k, it would be somewhere between $8-10k. Dealers would be at the 10k mark and private would be around $8k. I think you should be happy with getting anywhere from $7.5-8.5k.
