Default Input on intake?

Hey guys, I am looking for some input as to which intake manifold I should go with. I have a c&l plenum already and am looking for a 75 mm tb. Don't know what brand intake and where to get it from. Any help would be great.

Given your mods, there is no need or benefit for an aftermarket intake at this point.

if you really want an aftermarket intake manifold and youre stock, look at the edelbrock intake manifold with the adapter plate to fit your plenum you already have. Probably one of the better ones on the market right now and you can already use your existing stuff.

Im talking about getting rid of the crappy plastic intake manifold. Already have a bbk cold air, and a c&l plenum, want to get a new intake manifold and tb.

The most direct free flowing intake on the market is the edelbrock hands down but don't think you'd get out of it for any cheaper than any other intake. It's going to cost about $650 for everything. Intake, fuel rails, fittings, FPS adapter etc. (reusing your TB& PLen of course) If you want the entire Edelbrock setup with the tall Plenum and 90mm TB add another $500.

You are not at a level that you're going to be able to take advantage of an AF intake. You'll be lucky to pick up 15rw up top just before the power curve of your cams drop off. I'm not telling you not to get it, since the individual pieces add up eventually but, I would do cams first.

Unless of course, you have a grand plan for a big build in the future and just would rather have the parts. Then I guess it doesn't matter what order you buy anything.

Before you find it and suggest it, the Professional Products Intake manifold sucks donkey D***. The P51 wont do anything for you at your level AT ALL. The Hardballer intake is still a stock design. The Trickflow intake is good but will never out flow an edelbrock.

But he wants to stick with what he can use his already purchased mods. So the edelbrock manifold or GTFO!!!

I know of 3 full bolt on cars that picked up 25-35rwhp up top with the Edelbrock. That's some serious numbers from an intake. A fourth guy showed 40rw and showed his dyno sheet but a few people noticed changes to his A/F so there was some tuning that went along with it.
