Default Which Clutch to Buy??

Hey, Just curious what the 400+Hp mustangs in here a running for a clutch?

Right now i have a Centerforce Dual Friction 26spline, and its starting to slip worse and worse...

Car is a 2002Gt. TKO600 26 Spline Input shaft.

What should the next clutch be? Dual Friction? 6 puck? Spec? Centerforce?

Thanks!!!

I'm right around that power level and I'm running a Spec stage 2 clutch with no problems at all.

I've only driven my car with the spec and my car with a king cobra clutch so I don't have a huge comparison base, but I like the feel of it.

Well they are fairly cheap and in my experience (you know the one that I've had ) they work well.

at 400rwhp you should be fine with a stage 2 or you can always get the stage 3 if you have more power in the near future.

Spec stage 3 feels lighter than the stage 1. Unless you're a serious racer 2 or 3 would be your best bet.

Ive heard nothing but good things about the centerforce clutches...including info from you. But id look into the mcloed street twins. They are good for like over 600whp and they have an easy pedal effort and stuff. Never heard anything bad about them either. Spec ive heard a lot of bad things as well as good things. And just so you know, Spec clutches are more of an on/off clutch than being able to slip the clutch very well. At least all the ones ive driven are anyways.

That's some high rent. I think clutch opinions are like cams, personal experience breeds passions of love and/or hate.
