Default how much should I ask?? (56K no way)

I am thinking about doing the impossible and selling off the mustang. The problem I am having (other than actually giving her up) is knowing what to ask. Maybe you guys can give me an idea on what the car would be worth to a potential buyer.

The car is a 2003 Silver Mustang GT convertible. It currently has 46,000 miles, a perfectly clean title in hand, and a number of mods I will list:

100 zex wet shot with purge, bottle heater, full throttle activation, and window switch
Ram air intake
lowered 2"
Full 2.5" exhaust with Magnaflows and X pipe
4.10's
17" chrome bullitt rims
275's with 70% tread on all 4 corners
2 Corbeau Microsuede front seats with 3 point harness on both sides
removed back seats and made custom fiberglass enclosure for 2 JL 10's
Cobra hood
Mustang light bar
3 gauge A-pillar with nitrous pressure, fuel pressure, and shift light
Pioneer in dash navigation and DVD player (avic n-1 with bypass)
sequential tail lights
Lots of bullitt in car and underhood goodies,

Obviously I baby the car and never drive her in the rain. She sits in the garage under a cover when not driven and is in great shape. What price range should I be looking to ask in order to get a fair deal?

Here are a few pics that I could find. Keep in mind some of the pics were taken before it was lowered or before the corbeau seats were installed, etc.

I'm gonna say around 12k.

Are you going to sell it with the nitrous? If so, i'm thinking that will hurt the value.

I was planning on selling it with the nitrous but I can take it out if it would really hurt the value. I guess it depends on what crowd I am advertising it to.

To be perfectly honest i wouldn't by a car with nitrous, and i own one...lol! Like you said, maybe with the right buyer, but they'll be far and few between imo.

Besides you could sell it and make a few bucks.

Money put into a car to "mod" it does not usually increase the value.

+1 you will get peanuts back compared to what you put into the car...

remove the nitrous... thats a HUGE no-no for most sellers... you can make more selling it on the forum here.

The extensive mods will make it harder to sell, as you limit the pool of potential buyers to enthusiasts with money--most average Joe types will be scared off.

Many older buyers (who also tend to have more money) will not be impressed by the sound system and would rather have the back seat (worthless for actually sitting in as it is) than the boombox...

I wouldn't buy a car with nitrous. Unless it was a buddy of mine and I was really familiar with the car or something.
I'd say, if it makes any sense, find out the price in kbb under excellent private party and add about 60% of the mods prices accumilated to the kbb excellent total. I think that's fair.
