My stock Mach 460 system is far more than i will ever need. And if i did need more, id just try to find a wrecked stang with a Mach 1000 system and just buy that or find the necessary parts to make my own. Just cus i want something stock...not ricer. no offense but i think sound systems belong in honda civics because thats the only kinda good sounding noise that those cars will ever be able to produce. We make nice noise with our motors. No need to hide it with sound systems. lol

15s really?

thats such overkill.
I think 10s sound better than anything, 12s are just loud, and everything else is unecessary.

I don't waste my $ on subs unless they are from subway quiznos or dominos.
its not much weight but they do slow you down, that and the $ could have gone twords a go fast mod.

I would like a nice set of 10s in the truck i drive 25k miles a year, that would be nice but then theres no room for the tools so im stuck there too.

My buddy pulled his 460 out for a 1000 and gave me his headunit because i had a like a generic replacement headunit in my car when i bought it and now it works like a charm. Awesome sound. More than i think i could ever use because i dont even turn it up all the way.

Yeah, I'm not a sub guy. I had them in high school, not only do they weigh down, but they also create rattles especially if not dynomatted. I think if you must, just get one nice brand 10 with a nice amp and call it a day. More bass than you need is just a cry for attention.

If you want to bump then go W7's or go home but if you want some mild bass but good sounds quality for allot of rock and rap check these out http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...EM6V8Aa9iomjAg . Thats what I will be running along with a full pioneer sound system to match. Also these come in slim compact size for limited space , you could run to 10's in a nice slim box with the amp mounted some where decent.

Also a good trade for weight with subs in a mustang is take the back seat out and run your system there if you dont do allot of people toting (Fit two hotties in the front with you it will be fun I promise , just becareful)

My system is the 4.6 v8 up front. And I have two awesome speakers out back: my left and right exhaust pipes.

Seriously though, more than half the time I am in my car I don't have the radio on bc the exhaust sounds so good and actually interferes with any music.
