Yes I've searched. According to diagram in link, the jacking point up by the front wheels is going to be that part of the frame where you'd put subframe connectors. Is it not ok to jack the car up at the section just where that lower skirt bolts up (if that makes any sense)...like just 3 or 4 inches from the edge of the car. I mean it is a bit of a soft spot there, but this is where you'd have to raise the car in the event that you just had the little crappy factory jack, right?

correct.

but if you have a floor jack(whick everyone should own), just jack the front end up by placing the jack on the K-member. This way you can lift the whole front end of the car up and not just one side. But yes, if using a small jack or the factory jack, you can lift the side by placing it on the notched area 5-6" from the rear of the front fender well.
