Default patriot heads

i found a set of used patriot stage 2 heads with 1100 miles on them for 750 shipped. are these heads worth having and should i jump on them?

Thats a pretty decent price. Patriot heads have had problems in the past, you just got to ask why he is selling them after only 1100 miles

I'd be a little concerned about that buy.

But thats because I'm bitter toward them after all the issues I had with them.

the car was still running before he tore it down but had blow by. when he tore it down, he found 2 bad pistons. he said him and 2 other ppl checked them over and found no problems. this guy also has a very good trader feedback.

the fact that they are patriot and they were on a motor that blew i would get him down to atleast 650. i know several people that have patriots and hate them.

what gains would i get from these? i looked around and couldnt find any solid info.btw, i'll be putting a stage 2 cam in these.

I'm not much of a fan of buying used products especially if they were on a car that had the motor blow. I would be very skeptical about everything he says especially if you don't see them ahead of time, good track record or not.

01GT4.6 had Patriot Stage 3 heads and I'm guessing he liked them, but his motor was far from stock.

If they check out I wouldn't see why you shouldn't buy 'em.

N/A maybe 10RWHP I remember the first ones I ever tested gave less than 10RWHP. They make the ports too big IMHO and remove the swirl dam with sucks NA. I get more flow from a smaller port on my bench. Boosted they work better, and I have never seen a set that didn't burn oil.
