Default did a bad thing

well i decided to sell all my modular stuff and now i have a 6.0 longblock sitting in my shop waiting for me to build to drop in (LSX). with close to the same combo i'm putting together a guy on ls1tech ran consistent 10.4s all motor in a heavy catfish. i will probably run a th400 for simplicitys sake but would like to run a t56. also need to put together a rear axle, 4.10s or 4.30s, 31 splines, spool, c-clip elims, girdle, welded tubes and probably bracing. and suprisingly this will still be a street car. let the bashing begin.

Excellent! The only thing I would miss is that signature Mustang sound

A local guy did this in his new edge. He did the 6.0 lq4 motor with a single turbo

I would have to agree.. we might always be slower... but IMO we will always sound better. But from the parts he's listing.. sounds like he's making a pretty serious track setup, which who really cares as long as it's fast.

Welcome to enlightenment.... the 4L60E is a good one also, but you wont get better for cheaper than TH350/400, TCI has them pretty cheap and you can run the shifter paddles.

I love my mod motor, but LS engines are ballsy. Could it be possible that the sound problem is due to the fact that O/R y's and LM1's seem to be a popular combo on F-bodies though?

Its the firing order/nature of the Ford mod motor.
