stage 2 cams vs drivability

I have stage 3 cams in my DD and dont have a problem with them.

just out of curiosity what kind of change in mileage did you guys see with changing cams.

Driving to work 50% road 50% city I get 22-23 every tank.

what mods do you have that "affect" mileage (motor/gearing)? I'm sure I have seen a list at some point but I don't remember off the top of my head.

You guys must have super stangs because i dont really average more than 20mpg on a tank unless im out on the open highway. Then i get like 27mpg with 4.10's with the top down. But my stang for some reason gets not the greatest city mileage even though i can now use 5th gear @ 35mph.

^ me too, of course I like to get on the gas more now that i have the 4.10's... might be why, most the time its between 19-21 city.
How hard is it to change out the springs with the heads still on the engine? not to jack the thread... I was thinking about stage 2 cms cams this is why

not hard at all if you have the ohc removal tool. I had to take all of them off when i did my valve seals.

cams aren't worth the money if you ask me. Peak power is not necessarily better there is alot to be said for low to mid range power. Food for thought.
