Default Why I hate rain, wonderful morning...

going to get on the interstate this morning, putsins around the circle, hit the bottom of the ramp, don't even get off the ramp, hydroplane, and the back in spins out, manage to do a full 360 and hit the other side of the interstate...get stuck with a ticket for damage to public property for hitting the guard rail, one for driving to fast for conditions...if 20mph getting on the interstate is too fast...guess I'm lucky no one hit me, crossing three lanes of traffic, before hitting the rail, and was about an two feet away from going head on into a concrete barrier. I just want my baby back

I guess everyone driving on the Interstate this morning should have been wrecked off the road that morning since you did nothing wrong and couldn't have been going to fast for the conditions and/or your equipment. Do yourself a favor and take responsibility and learn from YOUR mistake.

damn dude sorry to hear that. That cop must of really though you were being careless for giving you those tickets.

I hydroplaned on a highway here in my old truck and took out about 50 feet of center divider (basically a 3-wire fence in the middle of the highway) and didn't get a ticket at all.

i guess its up to the cop to decide?

sorry to hear about your car, but if you were driving fast enough to hydroplane like that and lose control like that, then you were driving too fast for conditions, just be thankful that no one was hurt, plus you've got an excuse to buy a new hood now

dude, was going 20mph getting onto the interstate , not speeding or anything, if I was it would probably be a lot worse than my bumper and fender being messed up, i didn't do anything wrong, hydroplaned, thats it, can't do anything about it. Once you hydroplane you have no control anymore, just going along for the ride.

I realize it was MY fault, but there was nothing I could do about it.

Nothing a little Clear duct tape and a good rubbing compound can't fix
But by the looks of your front tires I understand why you hydroplaned
