Default New Eibach

Well i went to my local firestone place for a oil change and i asked for a courtesy suspension check. They told me that the shocks were going pretty bad..everything else is good but need new front and rear shocks. I saw a little wetness on the shocks to indicate leakeage so i see what there talking about. They advised that basic shocks would do but told me about Eibach suspension kits and so forh. Well i did some looking up and decided to re do the whole suspension. My car is a 2003 mustang gt convertile in excellent shape but figured that the suspension needs a upgrade so why not go performance. Here is a link to the kit i want that fits my car. Also be advised this kit is for the convertible which i have

http://www.drivewire.com/vehicle/for...sion-kit/#2003

kit number EIB.3530.680

Since there are several kits on that page its the one at the bottom. So tell me what ya think good or bad? Also when installed will i notice any difference? And if so in what ways.

You for sure need to pass on that kit. If you want something a little better than stock, get Tokico HP shocks and struts with H&R sport springs or eibach lowering springs. I think there are a lot better options out there than what you linked.

I did the TOKICO blues and the Eibach springs and love it. Much better than one of those packages.

I am looking at the same kit, but the next stage up that comes with the sway bars. Shop around though those prices are to high. I found the whole kit I am thinkign about for 820. The one you are looking at I've seen for under 500.

Sticking with all the same kind the suspension is tuned to work together, not knocking Tokico's they are great.

how do you know? you have zero suspension work on your car. the recommendations are fine (its what everyone posts and recycles), but i don't see why he needs to "for sure" pass on the posted kit.

thanks for the info. Now when people are looking at the link i provided are you scrolling all the way down? If so then the last kit on the page has the front and rear bars. Also would people please link better setups or prices? I have not bought the kit yet but the buying time is within 30 days.

I found this from steeda

Thats not a bad deal...

250 for the springs,300 for the anti roll bars,400 for the shocks. Eibach makes some good stuff i would imagine its a good upgrade.

The garage that looked at my car said "you only need new shocks. But while your at it you might as well re do the whole suspension since it has to be messed with anyway"
