The older SN's are so much more comfortable than the 99+ SN's. The floorpan design in the 94-98's is lower it feels more like a sports car should. Every time I get in my 03, I wish it was my 96. My 03 feels like a truck to me. (But you get used to it.)

With that being said how's the interior of the Cobra? If it's still perfect then I say go for it.

I'd keep your car.

Like said before - you KNOW what you have in it.

I think that you should go for it honestly. I say this for two reasons, correct me if I am wrong but.... IIRC you are not a fan of FI and your goals/desires seem to be much more oriented towards the badass N/A stang. You also seem much more about grit than flash in your stang....as in you see your car from a purely performance perspective first, then looks, then comfort, etc.....and this is something I can strongly relate to.

No matter how bad you really want it to be a fact its just too expensive and too much of a hassle to make the 2V into what you want it to be. In the end its just not worth the leaps and bounds to make it stout N/A. The 4v heads will open up your N/A horizon much more and will solve this problem. Given this.....the 98 cobra is much more suited for your needs. Its got 4 valve heads that benefit your goals in two ways......It gives you much more raw N/A power/potential and it allows you to rev much higher...enabling you to run steeper gears giving your car alot better strip oriented setup.

All in all its going to enable you to build on your goals alot better than your 2V. You should also get some money back as I think you can easily get 10k value out of your car. I do have a question though....if you take your cat backs off of your current GT what ya gonna put on? Dunno about you but I had to cut off my stock catbacks heh...they're rusting out in my yard right now .

And dude how the hell did you come up with Robert HAHA? My stang is definitely accepted as part of the family, hell I think my mother was more excited that I got it than I was.

Oh and if you do it, link #2 FTMFW!

Why does the first one have a pony in the grill and the second one have a cobra?

Everytime I drive my cousins 97cobra, it feels awesome! It'd be a huge step-up from a 2v. The 2v sound like they're being forced while racing, whereas the 4v sounds like it does it effortlessly. Also, cobra parts are more expensive, but the parts do benefit the 4v far more than the 2v imo.

Is all about the moola man....

Man idk...i was thinkin of sellin my car and gettin an LSX car (camaro, firebird) but decided that i loved my car too much. So i mean its a nice car, but just think about what you really want, you dont' want to regret it.

I just dont' like the body style as much as ours.
