Now on an earlier post i had put that i had taken this car to a dyno tuner and i dont feel he pulled out all of what he could with the tuner i bought...A measly 5RWHP.

I had gotten in touch with an old mechanic of mine who has built some pretty impressive SBC's and has toyed with alot in between.. Although he is more Carburator Oriented, i had taken him on a ride in my car and said almost imidietely it didn't sound right. He had heard and been in the car once before and remembers it being much more "throatier" and having better Low end. He rattled off a bunch of things but 1 thing i do remember is that he doesn't think the previous tuner set my timing properly.

He had asked me to ask you guys if he NEEDS a dyno and a computer to work that tuner or if he can play with it just be ear, then road test after each altering change. and if so, since the previous tuner only gave me the programmer, i would like to have a link to the instructions manual for that tuner to ensure i don't destroy anything.
