Default First Track Trip. 408W GT

This was Sunday 11/15. Well it didn't go as planned, but what ever does in this world? I had been preparing for over a week and got everything perfect.

First pass I wanted to kinda get a feel for things and see how that car was gonna launch with the new setup, etc...... Obviously ALL MOTOR, I Launched at 2200rpm and shifted around 5500. It went 7.1@96 with a 1.6 60ft.

That was her only pass of the day sadly. Ran into some complications and she got a little warm, which I will go into further detail later when I get more info. No broken/burnt parts, just a little inconvenience.

With a hard launch and a few tuning adjustments this thing should be well into the 6.80's or better all motor, which is just what I wanted. Just wanted to throw you guys a heads up.

Nice run! Sorry to hear about the inconvenience as I would have liked to see what times you would make with a hard launch.

7.1 is in the 10s on a 1/4, right?

I sent you a PM back buddy.

According to various internet conversion and calculators, a 7.00 is somewhere in the 10.80-11.00 range, so my time would have been slightly north of thise numbers.

Just for reference, I ran a 1.42 60ft 7.0@98 with the 2v motor on a 175ish shot. This thing pulls alot harder in the mid range, but our little complication hindered the top end a bit. I wouldn't be surprised to see 103ish when she's 100%

nice times man!!...i dont really speak 1/8 mile, but high 10s sounds pretty good for a first pass, running easy, with overheating problems!

Congrats on the virgin pass. It's gonna be a beast once you get it lined out. Gonna spray it later?

I'm not sure if you're wanting a slip from me or calling him a liar or whatever, but here's my slip just verify.

Congrats on your passes man. Your trap speeds indicate you've got WAYYYY more in it. Very impressive still.
