Default 4.5" Backspacing Welds?

I am looking at buying some Weld Wheels 15x8 for a pretty decent price. The only thing is they are 4.5" backspacing. Most of them I see are 5.5" or 6.5" backspacing. Will the 4.5" fit right?

if the 4.5's are cheap get them but the 5.5's fit better b/c they tuck the wheels in an inch.

i run the 4.5s and on a 28 inch tire i had to get lower control arms to lift the back from hitting the fenders. rolling the fenders would work to, i just havent gotten that done yet

My Goodyears were 27's and had plenty of room. Does your car squat much on launch?

Hmm Well I might get the 4.5" then. So they should fit ok even with 28" tires? I mean the guy is selling them for $100 shipped so it's kinda a hard deal to pass up unless they just won't work.

I'm sorry but $100 shipped sounds like a SCAM! 28's on them may rub, but why would you need 28's?

I don't think it's a scam, it's just the rear 2 wheels with no lugs or washers. I was under the impression that I needed 28" tires because with the 4.10s my 4th gear tops out at like 110 and I'm going to max it out before I get to the end of the 1/4 mile.

I just sold a pair of them and know what they go for, that's why I was thinking scam. It may not be, but consider this... it's going to probably cost him $40+ just to box up and ship, why would he only pocket $60? If he's not trying to take your money or pawn off some bent wheels then that's one hell of a deal! I can hosetly say that I've NEVER seen them THAT cheap!!! Just be careful.
What's your revlimiter set to and what do you plan on your car trapping? I don't know if I've asked you this or not before but what part of La. are you from?
