A set of long tubes and a catted x will deepen the sound, but it will be noticably quieter than what you have now.

They probably sold it to you "as-is" which means it didnt go through the shop to get the inspections and stuff. But SLP, ARH, and Kooks are the more expensive brands. They are stainless steel and they all offer midpipes to go along with their headers. Hooker, Pypes, MAC, BBK, and others i cant think of are the budget build stuff. You can usually get them in chrome or ceramic coated. Pypes however are stainless steel and ive heard good things about them. So its up to you now.

I have Mac LT's and they get the job done. I made a mistake and got the chrome ones... don't get the chrome ones, i started it up for the first time and the chrome started to come off within a few minutes

I repainted them after removing the chrome s**t and they are holding up just fine now. I have LT's and a O/R H with the OEM CB and i get people saying they love how it sounds. Its real quiet under 1.5k but once you get on it a little it gets alot louder, but still a very nice sound. At WOT its awesome here is a video of it, you'll have to skip ahead a little, but this is the only current video i have of it.

skip to ~2:15 to get a sound clip of it.
