And the difference between the 2 blower is simply the size. They will both produce ~ the same amount of boost, but the 2.8 will surpass the 2.6 as far as hp/tq at any given boost setting. The 2.8 can basically just compress more air at any given moment than the 2.6.

 

I think that the 2.8 has more of a boost range as more guys with cobras are running over 20lbs of boost...and thats what KB states is the range for the 2.6.

 

Well it does, but as far as "street" driving, they are the same. The 2.8 has a higher max boost(30 PSI i think) but he wont ever be running that on the street. What i was trying to tell him earlier was that they will both support his needs/use, but the 2.8 will make more power per PSI than the 2.6 will. Not alot more but enough.
