+1 in all honesty i dont really like the look of the newer stangs (05+) no offense to those who have it i just dont partically like the body style of them... so my vote is build the **** outta the one you have. From what it sounds like you probably have the funds to do so why not?

Yeah, personally, even if i had the funds to buy a 2011 right away when it came out, I still wouldn't do it. Like sxynerd said, its just plain stupid to buy a car brand new. The value drop is crazy, so just wait 2 years and find one with 15k to 20k miles and you're gonna save a lot of money.

Plus thats 2 more years for modding your current car

yea, the more and more i think about it the more and more i get torn between the two. i keep seein both sides of the story.

ultimately right now i have to keep it because the 2011 isnt in production yet. and im still thinkin, why not wait till 2012, maybe wait for a new gen mach or bullitt. so that leaves me with the question, keep puttin cash into my car now in an attempt to keep up, or save up?

i really wanna have fun and i hate waiting, and waiting till 2012 is WAAAY to long lol. next major mod is SFC's, been holding out way too long now and im thinkin the front coilover suspension is a little too rough on the rest of the body without SFC's, and theyre not terribly expensive and down time is minimal.

problem is, if i go too far with mods, then i might as well keep the car because it the value to switch would be negligable, and i would be at a major loss.

its not like i have a ton of money, i just have money "set aside". easier to justify spending money on a "new" car to please the wife than to "fix" an old car. you know how women think lol

anyone know any spectacular things done with the interior of our stangs particularly with fiberglass? i had a few idea's and was contemplating expanding on my fiberglass experiernce to see if i could maybe alter the dash using foam/fiberglass peices to a truely unique look, or even specify what i want and see if a custom shop will do it...
