Default Wheel Fitting?

Hey fellas im looking into getting some dd bullitts for the stang. im kinda stuck between 17s or 18s, and id like to have 285s or 295s in the rear. Just wondering if anybody has problems with rubbing inside the the wheel wells. my car is already lowered with bbk springs too. if u have any pics of 17s or 18s on ur car plz post. it'll help out alot in my decision. thanks

I like the look of 18's better if its gonna be for show and cornering. And you can fit 315's in the back without issues too. Fronts for you i wouldnt go past a 265 wide tire. But backs you can go all out. If you are doing street driving and dragging, then go with 17's.

Just go over to American Muscle. They have tons of pics of various setups of 17's and 18's.

If you are on a budget, and want it to look mean, just get some 17" x 10.5" dd bullitts for the rear, and 17" x 8" (or 9") for the front.

^^^Very true...unless you really are on a budget. I mean im going 17's because they only make the wheels that i want in 17's and tires are cheaper for 17's. But 18's definitely look better. I wish i had the money to buy the tires that i want for 18's and actually afford the 18" wheels that i want.

Bullsht, if you're on a budget and own a mustang as a project DD, you should just save your money longer and not be so worried about instant gratification.

+1 i would just check the customer rides on americanmuscle

if i had more money (dont get mad sxynerd!) i would have gotten some 18" saleens or something, but i wanted the instant gratification i really dont even mind the 17's though. It's going to be nice just paying ~$220 for two front tires come spring time instad of ~220 a piece for an 18" tire

you gotta figure out what you want and go from there!
