What are the issues with having a SC on a PI Swaped 98?

Compression is a bit high and you will have to address that with the tuner you choose to tune your car after the install but you might have detonation if you have too much timing with that high compression.

Compression is the only thing to consider... but it's not like you can't get around it. Back off the timing and/or make sure you run some sort of cooler ie intercooler, after cooler, meth.

Just run a intercooled or meth injected kit, and stay conservative with timing. For reference I'm running 8psi with 11* timing on 93 octane, and 17.5* with 110.

I ran it for awhile and had meth injection to take care of the compression. Don't go crazy with the boost and/or timing

yeah, listen to Fred. before his built motor he was running the PI swap with a blower. as stated, just dont be stupid with it. stay conservative with the boost, get a DEAD on tune, and be happy with reasonable hp goals. If you really want to make some power, you will need to throw in some different cc pistons and build the bottom end, and you will really see what kind of power a PI swap and blower cam make
