Default Intercooler

I am almost ready to intercool my V2. Does anyone know the best setup? I have zero knowledge on the differences and could not find much searching. The one my tuner mentioned (didn't really suggest anything) was the one from vortech, which I think is an aftercooler (could be wrong). Can anyone provide some info on advantages/disadvantages of different types or brands. Also if there are any other blower mods I should get while I'm at it.

Ebay FMIC is work just fine. I've used both cheap and expensive and the cheap one off ebay worked as well and the one that costed 3x as much. AND they looked Identical.

Something like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-5-F...Q5fAccessories

Are they easy to install? Any welding or cutting for this size?

Just an idea, look up Furinox and ask him about the intercoolers cus he had an interesting thread a while ago about the different style front mount intercoolers, whether the bars were horizontal or vertical and the gains to be had with both.

My set up is draw through, isn't a BOV only for blow through? I'm trying to figure some of this stuff out.

Interesting just read it thanks. I think he is basically saying he made more power with the vertical core, but it can run a little hotter. Not sure why cooler air would be better if more hp is being made...

eh/yes/yes the install wasn't bad just a little time consuming. You will need a way to cut the pipes and I had mine all welded together so I didn't have to worry about them popping off (totally up to you, a lot of people just run the clamps). I had to do some trimming to get them to fit the way I wanted on the car but nothing major.
