Default Should i trade or not

I love my mustang but i had a guy offer me a 2006 Scion tc 5 speed with 40,000 miles on it. Its not as fast as the mustang but it gets better gas millage and im in college so it would help save some money. The Tc books for 11,700 and has the following upgrades ,skunk2 header, megan custom full exhaust, 18inch rims, fujita full cold air intake,Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer, full TRD suspension. The only bad thing is that it has had a the engine replaced at Toyota because the cold air intake sucked up water. But the guy has papers from toyota were they put a brand new engine in it as of right now the engine has 5000 miles and the body has 40,000 miles.
The mustang has a High performance racing crank and cams, over-sized racing pistons and rings. Its been Bored 30 over also been ported and polished 3.73 gears, aftermarket intake, 75mm throttle body,King cobra racing clutch, Short shifter, Eibach racing suspension, Raven X pipe high flow Exhaust with turn downs over the wheels 17 Cobra R rims with 11'' tires on the back. Just put new coil packs on it along with Ford racing plugs and wires.
So do you guys think is it worth it ?

that car is worth almost double what yours is worth....hell i would do that trade even if you dont like the scion, just resell it and buy a 99/01 cobra or something...or drive it....theyre a little gay, and insurance rates will be through the ****ing roof (listed as one of the top 10 worst cars to insure)....but you could always flip it for a nice profit and get something else

Yea that is what i was thinking I have trade about 5 cars in the past for months lol... But yea they are kinda of a girls car but i wouldnt mind selling or trading it for a cobra. How much are the 99-01 cobras going for i found a 99 for $8000 but it had 124,000 miles.

his car is a 97 gt....My first initial reaction was a fat hell no but after reading you post op I'd go for it. I agree that you can trade up for a Cobra almost straight up. But that's only if you're interested in trading. Think about it, you'll get a car that's already modded, a brand new motor, and would be doubling your assets. Do it!

I say go for it. If the body only has 40k and motor has 5k, I would drive it untill you get out of college and can buy yourself a nice, low mile mustang or whatever other car you want when you get out. The downfall is it is a girls car. My g/f has a TRD Edition TC, its pretty damn fun to drive.
