Idk, they might be talking crank horsepower. But yea, i think stock the car should put out about 330rwhp or better. If OP sees better than that, he should be a happy fellow. But he can definitely up the boost to gain power. But the torque will be well over 400rwtq with his setup. And that might be something to watch as well.

yeah, absolutely. as said, i picked up exactly 40rwhp/and it was like 29tq from just a PI manifold on my 97 GT. I am putting in crower stage 2 non pi blower cams and was told from my tuner I can expect a good 50rwhp just from these over my stock non pi cams

dude, do you really want me to start posting up sites from slp and flowmaster that guarantee you will pick up 30rwhp from their longtube headers as well? common. of course a manufacturer will post that kind of information. think about it, if he can slap a turbo kit on and pick up even 100rwhp, shouldnt that be considered a complete success?

ported npi heads, PI cams, PI intake would max that bottom end at 8psi .....dude just dropped 6 grand on a turbo kit, im sure he can afford 500 bucks for a PI swap...

and i bet hellion is quoting engine dyno numbers, not wheel numbers

Congrats on the buy OP (I hate you lol).

I would rather build from 300-350 hp then from 170 -180 any day. so even if he is making below 400hp he can still build from there , He just did a smart thing and skipped slapping on all the BS bolt ons and went straight for buisness. Down the road get a built block with pi heads/instake and turbo cams and your gonna be popping wood every time you drive.

Bottom line is a Non-PI motor is very restrictive as it is so trying to push over 400 to the tire is not a very good idea anyway, not to mention the stock internals

+10000

and as stated, you have an awesome starting ground. id be willing to bet you could even keep your stock heads and just slap on a manifold and some custom ground turbo cams and you could max out that motor.

Dont ever take a salesman word solid , If Im in there sales department I will give you my word that it can make that power by just slapping it on , What I wont tell you that its not gonna be safe running alot of boost to get there. (400 ponies that is )
