Default Cost to paint spoiler

Any idea what it should cost to paint a S281 wing? Is competition orange going to be one of the harder colors to paint....i.e. more expensive? Looking to see what it has cost some of you guys to color match your spoilers.

I have an s281 and i did get it painted, but i know the painter so i cant give you any info on what i paid... But you could probably expect to pay around $150 for paint/prep..that may be installed with that price. Again, im not too sure with that, but it sounds pretty good..

I dont believe comp orange is a more expensive paint such as a 3 stage paint like laser red..

you could be looking at numbers as high as 300 depending on the shop you go to. i would bet 150-200 is a good estimate though, although i haven't gotten any quotes on just a wing.

Could be yes, but again depending on the place, could probably run you more. The issue is typically the amount of time it takes - not for the painting portion, but for the prepping and sanding and smoothing between layers and clear, etc. It is a process and that is what typically runs up the cost on a good paint job.

My paint is like $45 to paint a fender i think... compared to another color like black which would be around 25-30... thats a huge difference when you are painting more things than just a fender or something..

but i remember my buddy saying that the wing wasnt hard to prep at all.. he just did a light sanding, and than went at it or something like that.. so i would think $150 is a fair price.. shouldn't really be any color matching with your car either since your color doesnt look like it fades..

s281 wing ftw though..

your best bet is to just go to a shop and get a quote... show some online pics to the shop or something..
