correction my rev limiter does say around 5700rpmish. My nitto's are 275/40/17's. I watched one of my video at the track and i am shifting at 6200-6300. I have full bolts almost full suspension w/ spec stage 2 clutch and aluminum fly, no built engine. I got it tuned at radical racing and he said i could shift passed red line 3 or 400 rpms.

I live in cape may.

I was thinking in terms of 5th gear not 4th gear. Because a t45 runs out of RPMs quicker than a 3650..sue me lol

if you rev limiter comes in at 5700 then either your tach is off or your tuner tuned your car to have a revlimit below the factory 6000-6050 limit, which wouldn't make sence. What also doesn't make, unless one of us is misunderstanding something is if you rev limit is in fact set to ~5700 you would not be able to shift at 6200-6300. You rev limit does just that, limits the amount the car car will rev. Anyways at your power level you do not need 28" tall tires.

With 4.10's and a stock height tire, I trapped 114 @ roughly 6100 rpm. If you need more room than that, mph wise, get some 27" et street radials(255/60/15). That is what I have and I have trapped 118 mph @ roughly 6100 rpm.

I think we are just misunderstanding eachother. I don't know what my rev limiter is set at (i can check when i get the car today w/ my diablo tuner). I haven't hit the limiter when shifting at all, last time i have ever hit it is before i bought a tuner and raise it a couple hundred rpms above red line cuz i would hit it all the time.
My whole idea with going w/ 3:73's was to bring the rpms down and out of red line or just at red line when going though the trap. That way if i do a built engine i can get more power out of it and that would raise my speed and rpms when i go though the traps without having to shift into 5th gear at the very last 50ft.
At 110mph my tach is saying around 6100rpm's right now. I just wanted to bring that down to 56-5700rpm and 3:73's would do that for me @110mph and give me some room for (220ish) an extra 10mph @ 6k rpm when i get the power later on. That's how i am thinking for this.

In the long run it will be cheaper just to get taller tires..

I think you need to learn how to type because you keep hitting wrong keys that make your posts sound dumb. What you need is to put the rev limiter to 6200, shift at redline-ish, and get yourself some taller tires. You were saying that you shift higher than your rev limiter and stuff like that needs to be made more clear.

I personally don't think that shifting that high of rpm yields the best results. I have gone much quicker and faster by reducing my shift rpm by 2-300 every shift. For example, I try to shift into 2nd ~6000, into 3rd ~5800, and into 4th ~5600. When I started doing that my et's went down and my mph went up. Both on motor and on the hose.

Your rear gearing may effect the actual rpm that works best for your car. But for a bolt on 2v, sc and nitrous included, I think this method works best. Once you have headwork and/or cams that will change things a bit.
