yea it is...just take the car out and find an open road and give 'er hell!!! Opened mine right up Just gotta get on it every once and a while as preventative maintenance.

IIRC the IAC is integrated into the MAF sensor on the 03-04s but on your year it should just be in the intake.

If it's not serviceable why is there a million write up on cleaning them?

I have an 04 and mine is on the plenum.
