Default 02 GT / Termi. Im torn.

Well im gonna make this as short as possible.

I have been wanting a termi for a while and can very well get one, i was just approved for it, but im not sure if i really will need all that power. I know they are very easy to get power out of. With that said, i may just go ahead and get a gt and do full bolt ons with a tune. Now heres my main question.

If i were to decide to through boost at it with a vortech is there any possible way i could get the gt to the power that a termi pushes?

Thanks guys.

If you can get approved for the termi, then buy that. At first it may seem fast but you will soon get used to it and want more.

Pass on the GT and buy the Termi if money permits

I want to say stock Cobras only make ~385rwhp so adding a s/c to a GT would allow it to "compete" with stock Cobras.

Why dont you go in the middle and get a 99/01 cobra or a mach 1 , 4v's are sexy. A GT with bolt ons is a waste of money if your including bolt ons like CAI , Exhaust and P+TB. Cams/heads or blower bolt ons would totally be worth it with the money saved on the termi.

It will never feel like driving a 03/04 cobra unless you dump tons into a GT.

He didn't ask if it would feel like a Cobra, he just wanted to know if it would compete.

well i honestly dont know anybody with a stock cobra, but even so it would be hard for a vortech gt to beat a cobra. i have been down that road

If you got the money get the Cobra. There is an 03' vert here in town going for 16,900 with low miles. With the economy the way it is you might be able to find a clean car with low miles for a good price.
