Default Help 99 GT

Looking at purchasing a 99 GT 5 speed convertible with 37k on it. It has been inspected has 4 new tires, new top seal, new rear brakes, new serp belt, tie rods, headlight assembly all put on the car. the car is in amazing shape. They want 9,999 for it at my work.

With my discount I get her for 7,200. I'd be trading in my 06 impala SS. I'd lose 5 grand on the trade but I get $1200 back from my service contract. My payment is 339 for 72 months.

I'd snag the mustang for around 250-265 @ 60 months.

Any thoughts on what to do? I love Mustangs and this baby is clean and the new parts on the car is really intriguing.

I had an 04 GT for like a week and then my loan fell thru it was an auto.

I'm assuming there's no real major issues with these cars?

Well since your in Illinios I personally would want two cars because I wouldn't want to drive my Mustang in the winter time.

Losing 5 grand on the deal doesn't sound like something I would want to do.

You're very right, I forgot to mention I have a winter Taurus beater that my dad lets me drive.

I know it sucks losing the 5g, but the money off the price and service contract helps .

Ughh I'm torn >_<

Yeah that's kinda what I'm thinking, pending the interest rate which I'm sure will suck *** since it's an old car. lol

Didn't you post your payments for the mustang? That is based on your interest rate.

That was a ballpark figure. That's with playing with payment calculators etc. I went off of 10.5 which seems average since my current loan is 7.9.

So we shall see tomorrow!

Yeah I hear ya buddy, today is D-Day! I shall let you guys know how things go. Hopefully, I put a pony in the garage and actively post more :P

P.S. It has flowmasters already installed, sounds so heavenly, one of the reasons why I love the Ford modular v8.
