i have a 04 vert i love my car but if i could go back i prolly woulda bought a coupe my top leaks a little in the back and from a performance stand point the verts arent as rigid as a coupe but in the summer time it is f-ing awesome cruising around listening to the v8 singing through the lm1's so i guess its all on what u want performance hold out and find a coupe but if u just wanna cruise get the vert lol........ what color is it?

Thanks for the input BlackLx. Yeah I really am not gonna be going crazy with performance, I just want something to cruise. Summer, top down, flowmasters rumbling, sounds good to me

It's a dark red/maroon with a tan top. I would be worried bout leaks but it just had a new top seal put on so I should be good.

And, i won't be able to buy it til monday at my discount price. So until then the Impala is my ride, hopefully Monday rolls around and we can make this happen!

I promise to keep her clean, mainly because I'm a detailer so it's my job to be **** about cars lol.

man your about to get ripped. they are making you pay extra for those new tires and new top trust me. that car's suggested retail price in excellent condition is only $8700. By kbb standards "excellent" means pretty much like brand new. heres the link...http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/Pric...138|37076|0|0|

yes it is a nice car, but you are getting no deals. That discount wont really turn out bieng a discount. I would say something. Those dealers are desperate to make a buck

he's getting it for $7200 so its still a deal if he gets it for that. So i'd say go for it. I own a 2002 GT convertible and there aint nothing like it. Just promise me one thing...you will lower that thing ASAP because verts for some reason really look like 4x4's when they have the stock springs in there. So promise me that and we wont have any problems

Yeah it is excellent condition. We do intensive detailing(wetsand buff, clay, shampoo interiors, touchup paint etc. For a 99, it is insanely clean, low miles, and since we inspected and replaced all the things that didn't meet out standards, I know it is in impeccable working order.

It will be 7200 and like someone posted I'm getting a deal at that price.

On the lowering, that will be a mod done come spring time if I get her.

Car dealerships use NADA not KBB, at least around here.
