Default stay 70mm t body or go 75?

soo over the past few years i have got pretty much every bolt on i can for my car but i just didnt make the best choices when it came to the bolt ons. for example im not sure if i should have went with a 75mm t body and plenum or 70mm like i have...i got stupid shorty headers instead of long tubes, i got a catted x pipe instead of o/r x so i gutted the cats haha. thoes 3 things r really the only things i feel i went wrong with but my goal right now if to run a 12.9 on the motor and i wana get as much power as i possibly can out of my car..so thatbeing said do u guys think i should get a 75 mm or stay with the 70? should i buy a real o/r x or is my catted x with gutted cats the same thing? and i know i should go with long tubes over these stupid shorty headers. and also...if i do get a 75 mm and a o/r x do u think i could also get a few more horse with a retune?

Honestly, i don't it would be worth the money to switch your tb/plenum or your x pipe. I really think you would be splitting hairs at that point. In the end it might be worth like 3 hp or something crazy.

Just my .02

on a stock car i dont think it would be a big difference. only reason i have a 75mm is because it was paired with the plenum off craigslist and was a good deal. but i dont feel much difference with the combo(on a stock tune for now)

as far as x pipe, just have a shop cut out the cats and replace them with a pipe if you want true catless x pipe. no point in buying a whole new pipe.

im hoping to see a little gain after i put on my UPR catless X and get it tuned. i'll only have CAI, TB and plenum, catless X, magnaflow catback and tune.

I thought it was illegal for a shop to even touch the cats

I don't think there is a significant amount, but from reading around the forums that (o/r x) is what most people go for when wanting the most power.

LOL^

If your n/a 70mm is the way to go. Every manufacturer recommend it for a reason; intake air velocity is more important.
