first off they are 18x10.5 if they are in fact 18" 03 cobra wheels. and if you are shopping for tires, 295/35-18's will look good, so will 305/35-18's and 315/30-18's. Im in that boat myself as im buying a set of the same wheels currently. They have 315/30-18 bfg drag radials on them and they come with a set of 295/35-18 wheels for them as well that look just fine. So those sizes will look good. So would a 335/30-18...but that might get expensive.

ooh alright. im pretty sure they were 18x10 when i measured them tho. whould the .5" make that much of a difference?

yeah i would like as wide as possible but also not too $$ as i need to buy tires before i can use em and replace my old black 17" SVTs

also what are some pretty cheap but still alright tires in those sizes

For 18's, you wont find a set of good tires for an 18" wheel for cheap. I'd look at discount tire direct and search the brand names for tires in your size. For the front, i would run some 275/40-17 tires and for the back i would run any of the sizes that i listed in the above thread and you'll be good to go.

I would say 285/35/18 would look best, maybe 295's though. It would be hard to tell the difference. I wouldn't do 305's because they might bulge and especially not 315's because they will bulge lol. I have been working at Discount Tire for about 3 years now if that validated my opinion at all lol.

Well...just bought a set of the wheels that the OP is talking about which are in fact 18x10.5 wheels...only in machined finish with a set of 315/30-18's on them and they dont bulge that much. It looks how a tire is supposed to look...a little bit past the lip of the wheel so the tire will rub the curb first...instead of the rim. so i'd say anywhere from 295-315 width would work great.

Where did you find 18x10.5? All I have been browsing is 10".

I like these, especially in a 10.5".

Does anybody have this exact wheel that can speak for outer fender overhang?

Because these have a different offset:

I dont but you are talking about 6mm here...not going to be that big of a difference. And just for clarification, Im now running 295 wide tires on the same rim as the op is running and they are a little bit more stretched than i would like them to be. So just forewarning you guys. Going with toyo R888's whenever the refund check comes in from the IRS
