obviously you have not purchased a short throw shifter either..as I was under the impression that the two transmissions had different shifters designed for each..

really, if you had no idea beforehand, I don't see what the big deal is....

unless you're one of those hypochondriacs who starts worrying about things that are all in your head, because now you might start noticing a LOT more things that are wrong with your car.. :-)

good luck mr. t-45

However, i just went to look at my car on the side sticker when ya open the door and under the area where it says TR, my number is a 6. So i have the t-45 and not the "K" coded t3650.

So mad right now haha
Guess ya gotta sell it now

I guess you guys are right. Good thing i figured this out though before i bought a clutch or anything. I would've ordered the t3650 clutch...

This explains why my tranny grinds a bit here and there... like reverse and sometimes second is a biatch
my 3650 grinds. none of the trannys are anything to brag about except the t56.

Be glad you have a T-45. For instance.....Synchro Kit for T-45 = $212.00, synchro kit for 3650 = $379.00. Other parts follow this pattern.

Yeah these 01's are crazy...I have a Romeo engine, t-45 tranny, newer pulley set up, and all the newer visual items inside and out. Some other odd things I can't remember.

How do you tell which engine you have? My engine bay looks slightly different from my buddy's 2000GT, so i just figured i have the 01.5+ style...

I counted 11 bolts on my driver's side valve cover. Is that a romeo?

So i have

-romeo motor
-spoiler (not wing)
-hood scoop
-bulging side scoops
-01.5+ style dash

yet a t45

Oh and my build date was 02/01 (Feb 2001)

So when its time for a clutch, what do i need to get? how many bolts on the flywheel and such?
