Yea, I ran the NT555's on all 4 corners and they did wonderful in my opinion. Id advise you not to drive in snow but if you get caught in it, they will do fine. Got caught in snow a couple times and made it home just fine. They do very well in the rain as well. As far as hooking goes, these tires dont do bad for a bolt on GT in the warmer months but they will spin like mad in the cold. They handle well as well.

My brothers mach had 17X9 cobra's on it with 275's all around and it looked really good. He went to different rims and gave me the cobra's and I just bought 275/40/17's to go all the way around, great for rotating and extending tire life.

The 245/45-17 is supposed to fit wheels fro 7.5-9" wide.

But i'd rather not run tires on their extreme wheel sizes. Just personal preference though...and the fact that i dont drive a VW...
