hello everybody i installed my bassani catted x pipe about a week ago and i've noticed a strange noise. my x pipe kind of brings everything over to the drivers side of the car (the catback) and is making my passenger side muffler scrape against the driveshaft during right turns with speed over 20 mph. when doing a quick u-turn it can be heard as well. can mieneke do anything about this problem? like bend the x pipe a certain way to give the muffler clearance? or should i say screw it and put my stock h back on?

 

Just keep it on there. Try lining up the mufflers differently. I mean you can angle the muffler out more towards the outside of the car and adjust everything to make it fit better. That, or get a watts link or panhard bar to keep the rear end from moving side to side in turns Where at in maryland are you???

 

i'm in gaithersburg, md in montgomery county. so should i unbolt the mid pipe and mess around with the mufflers? actually what i should say is how would i go about moving the mufflers around in a step by step? sorry dude i just want to know exactly the way to do it.. this is an annoying situation haha
