yea thats what i did, though i did have a lift which made it a lot easier. PITA for sure, took a few hours

i did mine in my garage on jackstands and didnt drop the k member. It wasnt a problrm for me. Dont get me wrong it was still a pita but not wroth dropping the k memeber for me.

so id have to do the smae thing on both sides? im guessing..estimate how long itd tke?

I helped a buddy install L/T and just lifted one side at a time. Still takes time and still a pain but can be done. Make sure if you go this why to have someone up top checking for clearance.

Do the same thing on both sides? The manifolds are on both sides of the block. If you know what your doing 4-6 hours but if you don't, plan on it being down for the better part of a weekend.

Size as in the tubes?? The 1 5/8" primaries with the 2 1/2" collector that is the main size sold will hold about anything a 2V is going to throw out. IMO there's really no need to jump to 1 3/4" primaries or to a 3" collector.
